Volunteer Training Initiative

Funded by a grant from the Texas Workforce Commission, our Volunteer Training Initiative brings high-quality professional development and training to community-based literacy providers statewide.

Conference

Join us in San Marcos for our three-day flagship event. Training will include topics relevant for all positions in the Adult Education sphere, including administrators, instructors, tutors, and more. We hope to see you there!

Literacy Texas believes every Texan deserves to read.

Advocacy

Literacy Texas encourages and incubates literacy groups around the state to increase their capacity through collaboration. At the state level, we advocate on behalf of the adult education community to ensure their voices are heard in all areas of business and government.
